The Trisselwand (also Trisselberg and Trisselkogel) is a 1754 m high mountain in the Totes Gebirge in Austria. The mountain, which rises around 1,000 meters above Lake Altaussee with its striking, around 600 meter high rock face, is, along with the Loser, the local mountain of the municipality of Altaussee. A silver fir tree around 1,400 years old was recovered from Lake Altaussee as part of a research project. The tree comes from an underwater forest that has been known since the 1970s.
