I took my mountain bike up from Verrand (a hamlet above Courmayeur), descended to Dolonne, and then ascended from Dolonne along the ski slope to Plan Checrouit, WITHOUT taking the cable cars. The climb is challenging and not easy. I used a turbo on some of the steeper sections. The surface is very uneven, making the descent to Dolonne along the same road more difficult. I preferred to continue up the ski slopes until I reached the Zerotta cable car station, then descended towards Val Veny. Be careful, as the GPS navigation systems provide routes towards Val Veny that are unfeasible due to large fallen trees in the path.

The TAVAGNASCO PUMP TRACK is located just 30 minutes by car from Turin and is a tourist-sports infrastructure with parabolic curves, whoops and jumps that can be tackled with a bike, rollers, skateboard or scooter. You can speed along two tracks: a track of about 90 meters for children and beginners and a path of about 220 m for adults or experts. Access to the tracks with any means (bike, skateboard, etc.) is RESERVED FOR MEMBERS (membership at the ticket offices) who wear a HELMET. On the track you can use suitable bicycles (BMX, Dirt, MTB) with a working rear brake, skateboards, rollers and suitable scooters, in good condition. Possibility of renting bikes + helmets + protections with Bmx and Dirt bike (specific bikes for pump activity). All areas of the facility are accessible to people with disabilities as all the differences in level have standard ramps and slopes that can be easily tackled by aids and wheelchairs.

This S1 single trail descends from the Mont Fallère Refuge and is an excellent and easier alternative for those who do not want to take the famous Becca Trail.
