The red gondola cabins of the Brambrüeschbahnen connect Chur's local mountain with the city. While the mountain station is the starting point or destination of many hikes, in the valley you are almost in the middle of Chur's old town, where you can be chauffeured back to your desired destination thanks to the good SBB connections.

The Brambrüeschbahnen take hikers and mountain bikers with their bikes from Chur, which lies at an altitude of 592 metres, with the Chur-Känzeli-Bahn and the Känzeli-Brambrüesch-Bahn to an altitude of 1,188 metres.

Checking your tire pressure or taking a spare tube with you is definitely a good idea, I saw someone with a flat tire on my descent. But I had no problems on any of the trails here without a tube ;) Otherwise, the trail is much more technical than, for example, the Scalottas Nord. If you ride with foresight and know how to choose your lines, you will definitely get into the flow here.
