Beautiful lake with a great panorama. Very algae-covered though. It's great for hiking around, and definitely nice for children too.

The contrast between the shallow lake and the steep southern wall of the Glärnisch is intoxicating.

The story of Oberblegisee: The Geisser at Oberblegisee There is a lake on Oberblegi. Where the water comes in, I sit, but where it flows out, I first got angry, when the Leuggelbach Geisser thought he had to swim across it a little. The Puur in the hut told him: “Don’t be fools, you don’t want to tempt God, that’s what the writing says.” But the Geisser says: “Whether God likes it or not, I’ll cross it!” The Puur asks: “Now his?” and looks at him as he swims. He had almost been there when suddenly there was a noise. And that very hour his mother fetched water from the Leuggelbach. What did he think when he was thrown into the water? The head of his boy, where the waves were floating over the sea.

The lake is located at 983 m above sea level, surrounded by the peaks of the Bärensoolspitz, Brünnelistock and Rautispitz. It is fed by the Sulzbach and has no surface outflow. The Berghotel Obersee is located on the lake with a view of the lake and the Brünnelistock. Source Wikipedia

For me, the Clhüntelersee is the most beautiful lake in Switzerland. Güntlenau has two campsites at the front of the lake and at the back is the Vorauen campsite.
