A small maritime oasis in the middle of the Gantrisch Nature Park. There is a small circular hike of around 4.5 km and a longer one of around 10 km. There are one or two barbecue spots "almost" all around the lake. If you prefer to have your food prepared, we recommend a stop at the "Untere Gantrisch Hütte". Here you can enjoy fine Alpine food served or self-service. Be careful! At weekends and during the summer holidays, there is a lot of traffic over the Gurnigel Pass. The route is particularly popular with motorcyclists.
