This circuit is not only characterized by its beautiful scenery, but also by its beautifully landscaped bike trails. Here, you can seemingly surf endless trails. On the circuit I rode, there were approximately 17 km of towel-wide, beautifully landscaped paths. I mostly followed the "blue arrows." The first 13 kilometers were almost entirely on wonderfully easy-to-ride narrow-gauge trails, often with short but challenging climbs. According to a local, this is the best trail in Denmark.

The bike park is set up for MTBs in the forest right next to the city and has at least three levels of difficulty: green, blue and red. You can follow a trail seemingly endlessly. Great!

From the natural beach of Oster Hurup, an almost continuous nature trail leads south along the Kategat, with many sections of paths, almost to the mouth of the Mariagerfjord at Als Odde. Always with a view of the lake. Part of it is the Nordostien hiking trail, so it is really only suitable for hiking. You have to go through a few pastures. Therefore, there are a few gates to overcome. At some of them you have to lift the bike. So it is definitely not suitable for e-bikes. But it is really fun with the MTB. There are not many real MTB options around the town. Hence my recommendation. If you want to avoid the hiking trail completely, you should bypass these passages.
