Very steep. Only the last few kilometers level off somewhat. Poor views of the pass. However, many professional cyclists can be spotted along the way.

For me, Encamp is my favourite training pass. It is demanding at first but then it becomes more bearable.

Ski slopes in summer are adapted to create downhill circuits for mountain bikes. These descents are designed for different skill levels, from beginners to experts, and allow cyclists to enjoy the adrenaline of going down the mountains at high speed. Bike Park: In Grandvalira, of which Pas de la Casa is a part, there is a Bike Park with multiple downhill and enduro circuits, jumps, ramps and technical areas, designed for cyclists looking for varied challenges in their MTB practice. Pas de la Casa, meaning "House Pass", owes its name to a small shepherd's house that was located in the area. This area was historically sparsely inhabited due to its harsh climate and high altitude (about 2,080 metres above sea level). It was during the 20th century that Pas de la Casa began to develop significantly, especially due to the construction of the road connecting Andorra to France in 1933. This facilitated access and encouraged the growth of the local population and economy.

Magnificent pass, breathtaking views but be careful it can be very cold at the top, even if you are warm in the middle.

Els Cortals d'Encamp is a very tough and beautiful stop, the end of the "La Purito" cycle tour. It has also been the final of the Volta a Catalunya and the Vuelta a España. He still has to debut in the Tour de France. The first 4 km after the roundabout at the exit of Encamp are the hardest, with several sections and ramps above 10%. Once you reach Les Pardines, the slope descends, enjoying the beautiful views of Els Cortals. Els Cortals is one of the entrance doors to the Grandvalira station. An adventure ski resort town on the banks of the d'Arige river which turns hiking and biking heaven in the summer season, with plenty of trails to explore in the surrounding mountains.

Before arriving at the port of Envalira, you can see good views of the mountains, both those on the Andorran side and those on the French side.
