Hi everyone, how's the track doing? We were thinking of taking a ride tomorrow and since we're just passing through, we'll try it out ;)

The climb from Viggiu is tiring with rocky and uneven sections. The descent in the first section has strong unevenness but only for short stretches then finally HCMtrail, a delight

This little track is very nice if maintained, which is not always the case.

If I remember correctly, in the final stretch where it changes from south-east to south-west there is a narrow, exposed stretch with rather dangerous roots.

Nice alternative ascent/entrance to the 396 route from Cardada. As soon as you pass under the chairlift, a flowing S1 section follows until you cross the 396 route, then S1/S2 to the Alpe. From there, take the left forest path and you are at the end of the 396 ascent along the road. Will this be part of the new Cardada feeder trail? At least in the future it will lead over this Alp to the Bassa di Cardada and then down to the Cabanna Lo Stallone.

This dirt road in the woods, at times path S1, is very suggestive and known among MTBikers. It is also possible with gravel or sturdy touring bikes but take into account some push sections. It is worth doing a good circular tour connecting from Dosso dell'Ora to Cabbio. Avoid if you are not familiar with dirt roads or with heavy touring bikes, in which case you can go back via the same uphill road.
