Willisau is a charming little town with a historic flair and always worth a visit. A stop at the Amrein Café is worthwhile, as this is where the famous Willisauer Ringli was originally made - a sweet cult pastry with a long tradition.

Very nice little town center. Old buildings, beautiful square! It's just a shame that there is no traffic and no parking here - the square would be a gem like no other and would definitely be very busy.

The Wyher moated castle is located outside of Ettiswil. The castle has been a listed building since 1963. The owner of the castle is the "Schloss Wyher" foundation and since January 1st, 2012 the LuzernerHost AG has been the lessee. Castle tours are possible by prior arrangement and various rooms of the castle can be used for weddings, banquets, events, exhibitions, aperitifs... Events take place regularly.
