This single trail is narrow in places, with roots and steep - inexperienced riders will have to push their bikes. But in the section with the big bend there are wonderful views of the lake and there are also hidden bathing spots. Later on towards the town entrance it is still narrow but not dangerous.

A lovely fishery with a good selection and plenty of space to sit outside. Please note: cash only! The opening times should be noted: Tue + Wed 9am-6pm Thu + Fri 8am-6pm Sat 8am-4pm Sun 9am-2pm You have to look carefully to avoid driving past the entrance. You can see the sign from the south, but not so much from the north.

The Großer Plessower See in the urban area of Werder (Havel) lies in an Ice Age channel that was formed around 19,000 years ago. The lake is 5.1 km long and 1.3 km wide. Its deepest point is 16 m. The lake is very rich in fish, which is why it serves as a resting area for many bird species. Here you can, among other things: observe numerous great egrets.

Note opening hours! Sundays (unfortunately) only until 2 p.m.!
