The cabins belonged to Sami families. They were used as accommodations on market days and during church services until the 1930s. The buildings are beautifully situated on the shore of Lake Mantojärvi.

Open lean to shelter with covered fire pit. Directly on the crystal clear lake, with access via the jetty. A second fire pit with benches is next to the shelter. There is no firewood available. There is also no toilet or it is behind the locked door at the top of the street.
