If you like parks, views and old buildings, you shouldn't miss this park.

Beautiful sight. But there is only a small sign. A visit is not possible.

Magnificent stone bridge which spans the Brenne in the center of Montbard. The bridge is paved, and offers you splendid views of both banks and the river below.

Former fortified village of Yonne, on the Burgundy canal, Ravières is located about sixty kilometers from Auxerre, on the banks of the Armançon river. From this point you can enjoy a view of its small port with its small private boats and cruise ships.

Flat and pleasant route along the canal with a view of certain areas of Montbard, notably the tower.

The Parc of Buffon was created between 1733 and 1742, above Buffon and offers a wonderful view over Montbard and the Brenne valley. The park is made up of 14 landscaped, varied, planted terraces and is free to visit. Adjacent to the park are the remains of the former castle of the Dukes of Burgundy, with its two towers, the 46m high Tour de l'Aubespin and the Saint-Luis, both from the 14th century. The Saint-Urse church and ramparts are located at the top of the park and the Buffon museum at the bottom of the park.

Dismantled by royal order in 1710 to serve as a stone quarry, only four of the original seven towers remain of the ruins of this castle. The stones of this important Ducal Castle were reused for the construction of an 18th century manor house, located in the village of Villaine-en-Duesmois.

On the second floor, we access the charms of the Belle Epoque, with children's costumes and needlework.
