I recommend descending from the unmapped but well-marked path of the Sirino sources.

As of September 2023, it is closed and bypassing it to return to the railway is not exactly intuitive.

Small lake fed by the nearby Sirino springs. Great for a relaxing break.

In September 2023 it doesn't seem complete and it's not easy to always follow the trail, but still a nice valorization project.

The climb that precedes it is constant but very steep on concrete. This is the most convenient point to start the Calabro - Lucana.

Rivello station, abandoned, but could be a very important resource if exploited for the cycle path, such as a refreshment or mechanic point, or simply an info point. From here we recommend starting the route from Lagonegro as before this place there is a climb, I was told quite steep.
