The Waldschenke Luisenhöhe is a cozy place to stop for a bite to eat right on the adventure mountain near Haag am Hausruck. It's located in the immediate vicinity of the Luisenwarte and the GoRuck forest high ropes course – perfect for a break after the "Path of the Senses." 🍽️🌲 With its small, fine menu and new kiosk, it offers regional snacks and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere. It's run by Markus and Irene Fellerer, who put their heart and soul into ensuring their guests' well-being. The view from the inn is wonderful – ideal for relaxing and enjoying after a hike.

The "Muatsdrawig" break station and the Forest School together form a lovingly designed rest and learning station along the "Path of the Senses." Here, a comfortable seating area invites you to pause – in the true spirit of "muatsdrawig," meaning slow and enjoyable. The Forest School imparts knowledge about the forest and its inhabitants in a playful way. A perfect combination of relaxation and experiencing nature. 🌲🪑📚

A great hut with a pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff.

The path to the Pettenfirsthütte (710m) is suitable for families and children. From Zell am Pettenfirst it goes up via the children's forest. The innkeepers at the hut are very friendly, the service is good, the cuisine is down-to-earth and the prices are quite reasonable. Opening hours: Open Tuesday-Sun in summer, Monday is a day off. In winter it is open Fri-Sun.

Nice hut, good snack, but unfortunately not a proper lunch. Between the trees there is a view towards the southwest - from Lake Mondsee to the Salzburg Untersberg, with the Berchtesgaden peaks in between.

The Pettenfirsthütte is located on the Pettenfirst in the middle of the Hausruck Forest in the Upper Austrian Prealps. It is a popular destination for families and a base for day trips into the surrounding area with great views.
