Lovely spot for a break and/or picnic. The views of the surrounding landscape are absolutely gorgeous!

Good place to stop for a quick rest or get out of a rain storm :)

These houses were considered the link between the winegrower and his vineyard. They housed both the owners and the daily workers called in as reinforcements, particularly at harvest time. During this period when many workers gathered in the cabin after a long and hard day of work, small parties were sometimes organized where people drank and danced to an improvised track. At the beginning of the 20th century, while cabins were still very useful for wine growers, they were able to serve as refuges for lovers and were often the favorite place for many couples' honeymoons...

Indoor or outdoor shelter suitable for emergency bivouac. No water nearby. The closest fountain is the Losbrunnen.

In the ascent to the Schaentzel from the Reichenberg castle on the road to Thannenkirch via the crossroads of the Lach, you will find the Kochersberg shelter with the possibility of having a barbecue and a well-deserved rest. 😉
