Lac de la Raho near Perpignan is a popular recreational lake in southern France. Surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean countryside, it offers trails for hiking, cycling, and jogging. Various parking spaces make the lake very easy to reach and on days when it is not always sunny you can go on a great hike with the family. There are plenty of places to sit and benches and you can even have a relaxed picnic here because there are rubbish bins everywhere. Finally, there is also the option of stopping off on the side of the town for a bite to eat or a drink.

On the Lido, on the shore of the lagoon, there are 10 traditional fishermen's huts, built from wood, reeds and rushes.

The pond of Canet-Saint-Nazaire is a remarkable natural site located 10 kilometers east of Perpignan. The 1,100 hectares belong to the coastal conservatory in the lagoon and on its banks. The fishermen's huts and the magnificent views of both the sea and Mont-Canigou are a treat for any photographer and nature lover.
