Panthier Lake (or Panthier Reservoir) is a 130 ha lake in Côte d'Or (Burgundy, administrative region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté) located in the communes of Vandenesse-en-Auxois, Créancey and Commarin. It is the largest lake in Côte-d'Or and one of the five reservoirs created to supply the Burgundy Canal. It is also a bird sanctuary and is listed in the general inventory of historical heritage.

The circular trails are very rustic and natural, simply wonderful.

This romantic park, created in 1883 around the source of the Bouzaize, tells of travels and botanical discoveries around the world. The population's need for water prompted the then mayor, Paul BOUCHARD, to acquire the plots of land that make up the Parc de la Bouzaize. The acquisition began in 1886 with the plots of land immediately surrounding the water surface and the Bourgeoise fountain. The other plots were acquired gradually through sales or inheritances, particularly when phylloxera appeared, which made it necessary to clear the vineyards. The acquisition was completed around 1910. It was probably at this time that the town of Beaune commissioned the landscaping of this area. A beautiful park where the Bouzaise river originates.

Lake Chamboux is an artificial lake created in 1984. It is one of the 6 large lakes of the Parc du Morvan and supplies drinking water to many municipalities in the canton. An 8 km walk around the lake invites you to discover its fauna and flora, each part of the lake offers a different landscape. 2nd category fishing zone, unsupervised swimming.

Large swimming pool with several diving boards, could be temporarily closed, inquire in advance.

Nice place to stop. You can enjoy the shade of the trees, the picnic table, the bench and the playground provided. The pond next door adds a pleasant charm to the place.

Chamboux Lake is an artificial lake built in 1984 and therefore a relatively young reservoir. The trail around the lake is a fabulous opportunity to appreciate the water, trees and wildlife during your run.
