Cabin used in August 2025. There are no mattresses, but a wooden structure on which to place your own sleeping mats or mattresses. Sleeps approximately 8-10. Very good condition and well maintained. A stream flows about 20 meters away, and there is also a source (pipe) of drinking water (indicated on the map) 150 meters away. Bivouacs are also possible nearby.

Superb singletrack with crossing of a few streams which will lead to the ESTIVE KITTERIA as well as to the Bar le Cayolar, if you wish to taste cider or a Basque beer, of course! 🍻

Be careful, there are a lot of mice in the hut. Bring food to safety!

Not the prettiest place to camp, but toilets in the cabin next door and restaurant nearby. Tickets are available in the shop below.

Next to the refuge right on the river there are some good spots for camping. The river was great for swimming. In the morning a herd of cows paid us a visit.

The Iraty chalets are located at Bagargiak Pass at 1,327 meters above sea level. Attached to the village of Larrau, the chalets are located in the beautiful Iraty forest as well as on the GR 10 trail. There you will find something to eat and stock up on water.
