A fascinating path through a narrow valley with lush vegetation climbs 280 meters in altitude (between 120 and 400 meters). It winds through a rocky landscape, requiring some scrambling in places. The valley, with its rock faces on both sides, offers magnificent views down to the districts of Palermo around San Lorenzo and up to the mountain.

Be careful, the road surface is very slippery when it's wet. Unfortunately, I fell on a dry day. It can be wet in the bends and the road is very slippery in places. But it's a very scenic descent.

It's an area near the trail. You pass between two rock walls for a total of about 10 metres. Simple enough. Be careful, it is almost always in the shade and therefore humid and you can slip. Boots well laced and lean against the rock.

Unexpected canyon on the outskirts of Corleone

Splendid segment of state road 186 that climbs between narrow gorges. Pedalable both going up from Partinico and coming down from the hamlet of Sagana, in the latter case (in which very high speeds are reached) it requires a little attention as the road surface can be damp even on sunny days

Lovely place. An Eden a few kilometers from Palermo. Visited in May still appreciates a lush waterfall. Green is dazzling. I recommend comfortable shoes, sportswear, water and something to eat on the various smooth rocks that line the stream. It is easily reached, can be visited even by the little ones and the parking is very close. Also ideal for four-legged friends. Path to reach the waterfall: the two entrances allow you to access a path that connects the upper mill to the lower one, in an ideal way of the mills or arrive directly in front of the waterfall. Time to walk the path: 2 minutes. Path above the waterfall: it allows you to admire the beautiful surrounding landscape, ABOVE THE WATERFALL, from a different angle. Time to walk the path: 3 minutes.
