Interlaken Ost, with its train station and ship landing stage for Lake Brienz, is the hub for numerous excursions to Bönigen, Iseltwald, the Giessbach Falls and, notably, Brienz with its Brienzer Rothorn.

The climb is pretty tough. For this you will be rewarded with a rapid descent to Unterseen.

Breathtaking views over Interlaken, Lake Brienz and Lake Thun as well as the adjacent mountain formations. You can take the cable car up there or hike up. The path is 3.6km long and around 750 meters in altitude are conquered. The prerequisites are sturdy shoes, a certain level of fitness and a small packed lunch.

Beautiful vantage point of the Bödeli, the Jungfrau, the Niesen chain and of course Lake Thun. Quick to reach, from Unterseen in approx. 20 minutes.
