Rennerkaser, not Hennerkaser! For anyone who truly wants to experience alpine farming. As far as I know, the Kaser is open to guests until 4 p.m. ... After that, milking takes place, and that's it!

Königssee is a mountain lake located largely within Berchtesgaden National Park. Nestled between the steep slopes of the Watzmann and Hagen Mountains, this elongated lake, along with the smaller Obersee lake to the southeast – around which the Steinernes Meer forms the valley's edge – has a fjord-like character. From the Königssee parking lot, a path leads past the picturesque boathouses into the national park. Past the former Café Malerwinkl, the walk leads to the so-called Malerwinkel (Painter's Corner). This hike is also very popular as a winter walk, as the path to Malerwinkl is cleared and gritted during these times.
