The bridge has been removed and the rock has been chipped away to create a new path. The path can now be fully used again.

It's beautifully hidden in the forest but certainly an eye-catcher

Iddaburg is a place of strength. Thousands of people seek strength in silence to resolve their own life questions. The Iddaburg pilgrimage church is a popular venue for weddings and baptisms. In addition to Eucharistic celebrations, organ concerts and various devotional services are held. The entire pilgrimage site belongs to the St. Iddaburg Foundation and is ecclesiastically assigned to the Bishop of St. Gallen.

Impressive waterfall today with little water

Wonderful large casting (semicircular Nagelfluhkante with waterfall, approx. 150 m wide and estimated to be more than 20 m high) Also at the end of May 2021 there was still an official dead end - but in halfway dry weather the place next to the crashed bridge is quite passable.

The Brüggli has still slipped. I will report this to the community, the signaling with the cul-de-sac does not repair the damage. Unfortunately, not everyone can take this beautiful path completely, some will have to turn back. Update from 03/30/21: Damage reported to the municipality of Turbenthal. Update from 03/31/21: Feedback from the community, civil engineering and works: We are aware of the damage to the hiking trail at Schreizer Giessen. The repair work is currently being clarified. A repair can be expected in September 2021 at the earliest, provided that the municipal council approves the necessary credit.
