Accessibility: On foot or by bike from Heimenschwand, Schwarzenegg (approx. 1.5–2.5 hours, depending on the route). Easily accessible via forest paths – ideal for hikers and mountain bikers 🥾🚵‍♂️. Very beautiful and quiet location. There is covered seating (at least for 20 people). The Halten forest hut can be reserved (from the local authority). However, it is unclear whether a reservation excludes other people from using it.
