Amazing view of the lake. After the village of Boyalıca, the climb is very steep. Later, however, it flattens out. This route between Boyalıca and Altınova is highly recommended.

It's a great place to relax. There are seating areas, toilets, and showers, and swimming is allowed here.

I drove the route from south to north. South of the summit, the gradient is okay. The roads are mostly straight and wide. North of the summit, the descent is steep and very winding. Watch out for potholes when entering and leaving villages. My recommendation: 4/5 stars.

I recommend this road. It's paved. It's quiet, and you have a great view of the valley and, later, Lake İznik.

Unfortunately, there's no place to sit by the lake. Beer cans are lying around everywhere. There's also no road that goes all the way around the lake.

Picnic 🧺 by the lake. Restrooms and a water fountain are available. Under the trees. You can barbecue here. You could probably also pitch a tent.

Alternative to the main road, slightly more elevation

The ascent is steep, paved road, just make sure you have plenty of water. The descent down to the lake is beautiful, but also crazy steep on a gravel road, make sure your breaks are in a good condition😉
