Idyllic place

An old watermill, but no longer in operation. It looks like it's privately owned.

Here you can walk along the extensive lakes of the former Elbe. From the dyke, hikers have a wonderful view from above of the impressive bird life in the water.

A magical place with many highlights: a winery, a covered picnic/break area, a picturesque pond and a small weir through which the water of the Neetze rushes. Wiecheln is worth a visit!

The owner has opened his semi-natural garden to the public. Everyone can use the benches and tables, listen to the frogs and enjoy the wonderful nature! Isn't it time for a nice picnic break? A great and very generous idea from the owner, thank you very much!!!

The stately half-timbered building of this mill is located on the Neetze between the forest areas of the Fuhrenkamp and the Buchholzheide. It is first mentioned in the document book of the Scharnebeck monastery, which reports on a trade in 1330, through which the mill belonging to the Lüne monastery fell to the Scharnebeck monastery in exchange for a farm in Eyendorf. Idyllic location: the old water mill and mill pond

The fish ponds are located in a beautiful forest area, especially a magical place during autumn. The circular path is not paved, but a somewhat bumpy forest path in places. But it's worth it, because the forest is really beautiful here and the fish ponds are great photo opportunities.
