The path through the Proseggklamm has been renewed and partially relocated and has been open again since 2024. Great views of the gorge. The path is narrow in several sections, steeply sloping and also secured with ropes. However, it is easy to walk if you are sure-footed and have a head for heights.

A short but nice climb. It zigzags up over roots and stones. Once you reach the first platform, if the wind is right, you can stand in the spray of the waterfall and cool off. Then you continue up to the hut via another platform.

Interesting and exciting path through the Prosseggklamm. It could be argued whether it is a real gorge or more of a (narrow) gorge, but in any case it is a very attractive path on steep slopes or rock faces along the Tauernbach, which is cut deep into the mountains or rocks, with a larger waterfall right in the middle, which, among other things, can also be viewed from the path above (see HL "Waterfall View"!).

There are various ways or paths to get from Hinteregg (or from Strumerhof or high up from the Wodenalm) to Prossegg (or the Tauernbach valley). This exciting path takes you from Hinteregg directly to the Annakapelle at the Prosseggklamm (or vice versa). North of Hinteregg, the path still runs as a meadow path - with beautiful views to the west up to the Hintereggkogel and the Planissbichl saddle on its southern ridge (incidentally, with great views if you accept the steep and strenuous climb from the Wodenalm!). On the other side to the east there are wonderful views of the Tauernbach valley and the rock faces and mountain ranges rising behind it. It is important not to miss the turnoff to the right (east) with the trail sign 58 A in the adjacent forest near Glatzenebenbach (see photo!). It is a very narrow path that can often be very wet and muddy at first. But it then turns into an interesting narrow forest path along slopes. There are great views of the Tauernbachtal! At the end the path meets the Annakapelle with wonderful, interesting views of the Prosseggklamm or the Tauernbachtal and over to the rock faces with a large waterfall.

The Schrentebach falls spectacularly over a rock step into the Hainkar.

There is an accessible path, but of course the much nicer one is the waterfall trail !!! It's not that demanding now either. Very friendly hut owner, good Kaiserschmarrn. Then escaped from the announced thunderstorm and returned to the car while still dry. Beautiful alpine meadows and you can also enjoy the beautiful view at the hut
