Great rest area that is actually open 24/7. We even spent the night there - the villagers and the mayor, who were still sitting there together after a senior bike ride, gave us a warm welcome. Absolute recommendation! :D

One of the special features in Eibesthal, however, is a pretty hunter's cottage with the evocative name "Villa Lisa". Located in the middle of a small clearing, it offers hikers a place to linger and hunters also like to come here and enjoy the idyll.

Opening hours: Thursday to Sunday and public holidays, from 10:00 a.m. until dusk. The outdoor area is self-service, while the indoor area is served. Monday to Wednesday, snacks and drinks can be purchased from the vending machine in the entrance area.

With a lot of love and commitment, the Ottenthal Village Renewal Association has converted an old wine cellar into a rest and refreshment station for hikers and cyclists. You can enjoy non-alcoholic drinks and a typical glass of wine in the self-service cellar. Opening times midnight Self service Opposite is a public toilet (near the mortuary).
