We take a Delica to Mazeri and begin walking along an easy, steep, and easy-to-find path that leads directly to Georgia's most powerful waterfall.

The entrance fee was 25 Lari with another 20 Lari for optional boat ride (May 2025). The entrance allow u to walk along the walkway to the falls but the 15 mins boat ride takes you to spot inside the canyon not accessible by foot, so it was worth the experience. My suggestion is to visit near mid day when sun is bright and shine from above for good light for photos.

Dartlo is considered the most beautiful mountain village in Tusheti. And rightly so. There are also a few hotels and cafes with WiFi. It is fun to climb through the small village in search of beautiful photo motifs. You can also camp below the village.

The Aragvi is a wild mountain river and an important river in Georgia because it feeds the Kura River (Mtkvari).

Grey-brown, rounded rocks form many chains of hills and cliffs, canyons and ravines, constantly going up and down. The rock is a smooth, hard sand-gravel-marl; somewhat similar to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, but not as sandy, but with larger stones/pebbles in it; partly karstified. Some climbers tried their hand at the vertical walls (some of these walls were covered in ivy from top to bottom). A good starting point would actually be Tbisi; but the marshrutka sets off a kilometer earlier. In the interior of the area there are only small paths; all are unmarked, sometimes difficult to find under the bushes and grass, and the castle can therefore only be found by those in the know. Streams appear and disappear.
