La Izvor Park was created in 1972 as one of Chisinau's youngest parks. Over an area of 150 hectares, several lakes are connected by canals. At the entrance to the park you will immediately come across the avenue of diplomatic missions. Every diplomatic embassy has planted a tree here. Certainly a nice sign in today's world. Afterwards you walk over the suspension bridge “Podul Iubirii” (Bridge of Love) and can spend a lot of time at the lakes. On the western side of the large lake there are many leisure attractions, such as a swimming beach, playgrounds, skating rinks, table tennis tables, a beach volleyball field and a climbing park in the trees.
