The Offenseebach stream flows through a very varied riverbed. There are sections of gravel, but also pools eroded into the rocks, which offer an "impressive spectacle" after snowmelt or heavy rain. When the water flows over the cascades, the stream "seeps" into the gravel and is only dammed again at the next dam, where it flows over the dam as a waterfall.
