Somewhat off the beaten track but worth a visit for that very reason. Plus, you are in beautiful nature all the time and enjoying some good views. Just regular hiking equipment required. Nowadays, it seems to be necessary to also add: "and some common sense". Don't get too close to the "edge" points. Mountain trails in Slovenia are mostly not made foolproof, so fools should take some extra care.

Nice, relatively easy hiking tour to a great view point. Approach shoes are sufficient, trekking poles optional.

The picture shows the Begunjski and immediately behind it the ridge to the right to the Cmir. In the saddle in front is the Dom Valentina Stanica. The path from the Valentina to the Kredarica and Trgilav hut is at least challenging walking terrain with a few secured passages. You should not be afraid of heights. In snow and wet conditions I imagine the unsecured crossings are dangerous.
