A beautiful place for families and walks, where children can play freely. You can also bring your own boat to the harbor and begin your journey on the lake.

One of the most beautiful spots along the Buffalo waterfront. The attached photos show the large marble remnants of the facade of the original M&T Bank headquarters/branch. It's a wonderful place to stroll and enjoy the scenery. There's also a kayak launch and kayak rentals.

A beautiful little gem! Beautiful views, plenty of picnic tables, restrooms, a playground, informative signs, and two pairs of binoculars. I'm already looking forward to more picnics there! Beware of a wasp nest in the ground and the strong smell of dead fish among the rocks.

Nice view from the Gull Point Trail of Lake Erie. There is a beach here where you can access the water if you want to take a dip to cool off.

Buffalo Harbor State Park sits on the northeastern banks of Lake Erie. There are a bunch of pavilions and picnic areas in the park, but the main feature of the park is the paved path stretching out into the waters. You can run this little out and back section along with some other paved trails circling around the property. It's also pretty easy to link this park to the nearby Tiff Nature Preserve.

Wilkeson Pointe is a small park along the Outer Harbor. The park is popular for running, walking, biking, and kayaking. There are some dirt spur trails in the area, but the majority of the paths are paved and super easy to follow. It's easy to make small loops in the park if you want to add on mileage at the end of your run.

A thoughtfully planned out park, Aqua Lane Park was created with ideas for not just its people visitors but also its animal visitors. Park planners planted native plants including sunflowers, milkweeds, asters, bee-balm, and goldenrods, all great plants for pollinators like butterflies and bees.

The Perimeter Trail follows the banks of Lake Erie and takes hikers through grasslands full of wildlife. The area is a great spot for birdwatching.
