JALANCE IS a municipality in the interior of Valencia with a mountainous topography, where important orographic units converge (among others, the Boquerón Mountains, the Cortes Millstone or the Jalance Millstone). The castle is not to be missed. Of this fortress, only the two semicircular towers in the northern part have been preserved. According to the latest research, the castle dates back to the end of the 10th century. Today, you can still see the foundations on which the walls stood. This fortress has been declared a Cultural Heritage.

A fortress of Muslim origin built in the 11th century. To get to the castle you have to go around the mountain but the climb is worth it because there are beautiful views towards Jalance. You can't see the castle inside.
