A spectacular visit

Free shelter located on the same access track that leads to the Casas del Salto and Salto de Poveda. Currently (October 2023) it is closed due to the danger posed by the roof in poor condition. Nearby there is a picnic area with tables, benches and a fountain.

good shadow to rest

The Fuentervilla recreational area is an ideal place to take a break and recover energy before continuing with our route. Always Surrounded by nature, we will find a refuge and a source.

We must deviate from the road to find the Fuente del Pico Refuge. Well conditioned to rest and recharge the bottle at the source. Near the refuge, from the viewpoint of lost love, we have wonderful views of the dense pine forests that surround us.

At this point, next to the path, we find the Taina de la Verguilla, a typical cattle herd. Next to it, a salt flat has been recovered, a replica of a shepherd's hut to shelter the flocks of sheep. It is an ideal place to take a break on one of the wooden benches before continuing with our route.

Shelter with tiled floor, to sleep is very good. You have to climb a bit from the path. There's a fountain right at the crossroads. The views of the pine forests of Soria from there are spectacular
