The starting point is Pfäffikon ZH, where you are just a stone's throw away in the middle of an enchanting lakeside landscape. After the village of Auslikon, the stately Roman fort appears on the horizon as another eye-catcher before you reach Pfäffikon ZH again - showered by the natural experience. The "cycle path" around the Greifensee is quite narrow and is populated by inline skaters, slow cyclists with child trailers and even walkers. In my opinion, the path used in oncoming traffic (!) is not a suitable training slope for racing cyclists, it is far too dangerous to want to ride there at "full speed"!
