The Benagil Cave, also known as the Cathedral by the locals, is a small demonstration of the strength of the waves that regularly hit the rocky coast of southern Portugal.

A tourist "must" if you are in Carvoeiro. Really worth seeing caves and rock formations. In May and the end of September the rush of visitors is also limited. There is a small bar, but only a few parking spaces - better to use the well-developed path (wooden planks) from Carvoeiro.
