The Kastellet is a fortification on the island of Kastellholmen. It was built in 1846-48 according to plans by Fredrik Blom in place of a previous building.

The Wrangel Palace is one of the oldest buildings in Stockholm. It was built in 1629. Today the palace houses the Swedish Court of Appeal.

Stenbock Castle was built in 1640 by Fredrik Stenbock. It was redesigned in Roman Baroque style by Nicodemus the Elder of Tessin. Today it is used by a Higher Administrative Court.
