The picturesque lake is especially popular in the summer months, not only for hikes, but also to relax and for camping. There are many options for different hikes, for example you can start at the Tømmerdalstorget parking lot.

Close to Helsingør, on the northern shore of the Kobberdammen lake there is this beautiful picnic area where you can rest, relax and have a great time near the water.

This rest area offers space for three groups, each with their own fireplace or barbecue area. Right on the lake, great place.

Nivå Bugt Strandenge is a 20-hectare bird sanctuary located south of the city of Nivå, out to Nivå Bugt. The reserve, which is part of the Nivå Ådal Conservation, has been established and managed by the Bird Protection Fund. The area is a varied bird site, from which more than 200 species of birds have been observed over the years.
