Bøllemose is a fascinating area with a lake and lots of wetland and its typical plants. Here you pass through via a wooden platform.

Beautiful spot - especially in autumn when the leaves are turning. Be sure to head out onto the lake-side viewpoint!

In the middle of the 435-hectare beech wood of Jægersborg Hegn is Bøllemosen – an old peat bog containing unique animal and plant life. Bøllemosen was previously an ordinary lake, but gradually became overgrown and developed into a raised bog. During the 19th and 20th centuries, the bog was used for the digging of peat.

Great area with good accessibility.

Most people go to the first lake, which is often overcrowded at this time. But if you just go a little further, you still have a lake. A dream for dogs too. Super clear water. Great sand. I can only recommend!

Nivå Bugt Strandenge is a 20-hectare bird sanctuary located south of the city of Nivå, out to Nivå Bugt. The reserve, which is part of the Nivå Ådal Conservation, has been established and managed by the Bird Protection Fund. The area is a varied bird site, from which more than 200 species of birds have been observed over the years.
