Perfect for cross-country skiing

Runn Runt, always follow the red signs with 200 Runn Runt. The loop around Runn Runt is well-marked. You can expect beautiful views of Runn, two cafes, about 460 meters of elevation gain, and all kinds of paved surfaces, but mostly asphalt. The beautiful Vika Kyrka is worth a visit. Have fun 😉.

Liljesund Bridge, beautiful scenery, right on Lake Runn and Lake Liljan.

Unfortunately, it seems to be misused as a toilet a lot. Not 10 meters from the benches, there's used toilet paper everywhere. 😞

The bridge linking Liljan and Runn lakes is a cyclist's dream with panoramic water views and smooth crossings. The area is perfect for scenic rides to explore the Swedish lakeland. The Runn Runt passes here, check the red signposts to follow the path.

You can rent the sauna here for just 250 kr for two hours. In the summer, people enjoy swimming, and fishing is allowed with a license. In winter, the area is popular for cross-country skiing, and hiking is also a great option. The forest is rich in berries and mushrooms from August to September, making it a vibrant natural environment year-round.

The path around Runn is amazing, offering stunning views throughout. You may occasionally share the road with cars and most of the path is paved.

Lake Stangtjärn is one of Falun's most popular bathing and recreational areas and has excellent running trails and cross-country ski trails in winter.
