Free parking with a great bathing jetty and adjacent rest area with barbecue facilities and toilets.

Right at the northernmost point of Lake Simlången, a bridge takes you acorss the water. There's a great view of the two lakes.

The nature reserve is where the village of Bröda once stood, and is made up of an ancient beech forest and open pastures. The pastures and woods lead towards Lake Simlången. It's a wonderful place for hiking and admiring the rich biodiversity.

After a wet period or in the snow and ice, it is very slippery in many places. Walking and hiking poles as well as ice ax coverings may help.

My tour will take about 2-3 hours with photo, exploration and rest breaks over a total distance of about 7.2km to the waterfalls. Sturdy shoes or hiking boots are required. Do not forget drinks and a small snack. For toddlers up to 3 years is a backpack (Kraxe) recommended (can be borrowed from me machistex@gmail.com)
