Cabin and fire pit by the river. A tent won't fit inside. The river is a bit noisy, but with earplugs, it's okay for one night.

Once you've left the forest and the first climb behind you, look forward to a short break here with a great view. You can stay overnight - or, like us, sit out a rain shower on the way back.

Interesting construction. The bunker is equipped with first aid supplies as well as rescue stretchers and blankets. The bunker and its inventory are designed to save lives.

The Tjåkkelestugan (the fat cabin) has six beds and the small, simpler cabin has two beds. In summer you can sleep on an air mattress in the attic. The cabin has a wood stove, kitchen appliances, mattresses, pillows and blankets. It is unlocked and overnight stay is 200 SEK per person per night. Children (0-15 years) stay for free. The fee is used for upkeep of the cabin, equipment and firewood. Payment information is available in the cabin.
