The city of Fulda operates this large dovecote to humanely regulate the pigeon population. There, the birds receive food and water, and controlled egg collection limits reproduction.

A somewhat dated but very interestingly designed sculpture

The beautiful large sculpture is unfortunately suffering from the "ravages of time"

Road surface is mediocre in places so be careful on your road bike. Also watch out for pedestrians. I prefer the path in the North direction as the surface impurities do not matter as much while ascending. Going South, still worth to include, just be careful :)

Carefully winding path with views over some idyllic meadows. Indead, some unclear / dangerous curves to be watching out for.

Very beautiful, quiet road next to the river Fulda.

Would not advise the cubble stone path on the bridge for the road bike but perfect on any other bike. For the road cyclsits, the road next to it works good enough.
