Magnificent renovated refuge, bed, fireplace ..... enough to spend the night in the warmth. Thank you for respecting this exceptional place.

This charming address, located opposite the Col du Soulor, offers a menu that has everything to comfort the hungry hiker: mountain dishes based on local and mostly organic products. An essential stop to take a break, have a drink, enjoy the panorama of the mountains.

Beautiful climb not too difficult (one or two steep steps before the pass), the Prat d'Aurey hut is very pleasant for a picnic, then to reach the summit, under the last pylon, it is better to go around to the west by direction of the Col d'Andorre and follow the ridge to the east. From there the view is splendid on the valleys at 360°. Descend by the same path, the variant by the beech forest brings nothing.

A great place to stop for cold refreshments or an artisan ice cream.
