Superb lake in the heart of the Louron valley with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The tour of the lake is a superb walk accessible to all. There are several playgrounds along the path.

The middle lake lies, as its name suggests, between the lower and upper lakes. The three of them form a string of lakes called the Bastan lakes. Of glacial origin, this natural body of water is now home to a few species of fish (including trout) and makes up the landscape with beautiful islets of century-old pines all around.
