The detour leads to absolutely stunning pools and is certainly not useless. Definitely worth doing. You only have to walk the last 150 meters downhill towards the river. It's a bit steep in places, but not dangerous. Otherwise, check out my previous tours.

It takes a good two hours to walk from Corte to the bridge. But cooling off in the Gumbe is wonderful

A nice halfway point of the gorge hike. Stop and enjoy the swim before heading back.

The variety of the Tavignano Valley is wonderful. Above all: the valley belongs entirely to the hikers. Everywhere it smells of fresh herbs.
