The kitchen had already closed at 3 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, so there were no hot or cold food left. Only cake and ice cream, but that was good. 💲💲Cash only. 💲💲

The walk up is worth it. The artfully designed hut is made of long sticks. It is held together with cable ties. Not exactly environmentally friendly, but durable. Partly covered with moss and nestled against the rocks. It is accessible.

Club Vosgien refuge with 2 tables. There is a spring with Eau non potable nearby. Easy to drink with a filter. Bivouac in the hut max. one person. There are few flat spots outside.

Restaurant with very friendly staff and good with shade on the terrace. Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Closed on Mondays. TEL: +33 3 88 08 34 33

A traditional inn near the Champ du Feu ski resort. You can stop here to eat or drink something before continuing into the mountains.

Traditional inn at 960 m altitude near the ski resorts of Champ du Feu and the mountain resorts of Le Hohwald. Here you can also get local specialties (trout) etc. Rather high tourist prices. Popular biker meeting place with corresponding events. That's why the road is very busy with motorbikes!!! But very good for stopping off. Also open in winter.
