Magnificent spot, I recommend!

Four chapels were built on this site. The first was built in the 16th century and the current building dates from 1872. The view from here is quite spectacular.

Located in the town of Thoraise, and built in the 15th century, the Notre-Dame du Mont chapel dominates the Doubs valley and offers a beautiful view of the river and the towns that border it. You can also see the Château de Thoraise, directly above the Doubs.

The Amondans Canyon follows the bed of the Malans stream. Its waterfalls and pools make it a beautiful canyoning course that leads to its small tuff waterfall. If you are advised to take a tour, it is recommended to be accompanied and to take into account the weather conditions of the days and weeks preceding your visit. Always inquire before approaching a canyon or a cave.

The Adhuy waterfall is not the most spectacular in the region but is nevertheless of great interest. Geological at first, the Adhuy is a fine example of tufière (typical rock formation of the Jura made of calcareous tuff). Then, if it flows along the wall, like a real curtain, the Adhuy also offers a beautiful icefall in winter. In summer, you will take pleasure in hanging your head down before leaving. Refreshing.
