well maintained refuge with outhouse and bunk beds

At the exit of the forest, you come out on a large fern moor. A few hundred meters further, arrive at an intersection and turn left to reach the camp des ferns. This shelter for 4 people is a bit spartan but it can be a good plan B. You have a drinking water tap on site. Don't hesitate to walk the few hundred meters that separate the GRNC1 from the shelter to get your water supply.

This refuge is truly isolated, but is located within the park itself, in well-preserved nature.

The muleteers' hut is a bit like its predecessors: huts without doors and close to a stream. It has toilets, a water point and pitches for camping. The nature around is remarkable. You may have the opportunity to see beautiful orchids, as well as giant kaori trees.

This refuge is free, but it is important to report your presence to the park rangers. The guard house is located up the path you just took. There are public toilets available. The view of Lake Yaté is sublime.

The refuge is a simple cabin with wooden beds and no door. It is located by the river in a pretty plain. You will find water, tables and benches, as well as a barbecue area, places to pitch your tent, public toilets, and even a telephone booth.
