If you want to see the Bruyant Gorges in all their glory, the Bec de l'Aigle is the place to go. It can be a good hiking destination from Lans-en-Vercors.

I prefer the road option, but the Gorges cannot be compared to the Bourne Gorge that follows. Still a beautiful landscape.
